Wyndham Opi Hotel Palembang Celebrates 7th Anniversary with Community and Environmental Initiatives Palembang, 18 July 2025: Wyndham Opi Hotel Palembang has commemorated its 7th anniversary with a series of social and environmental initiatives - including community donations and clean-ups – reflecting its ongoing commitment to community care and sustainability. The celebration began with the donation of basic necessities and the symbolic handover of seven potted fruit plants to Panti Asuhan Rumah Yatim Nusantara, which can be used to produce food in years to come. Wyndham Opi Hotel Palembang planted seven red shoot trees in the hotel’s garden area. In collaboration with the local government, the hotel also organized a city park clean-up, focusing on the removal of illegally embedded nails on advertising boards attached to trees and litter, and collected more than 7 trash bags of waste for recycling in support of the government’s environmental program in Kambang Iwak - city park. Beyond these efforts, Wyndham Opi Hotel Palembang continues to implement sustainable practices in its daily operations, such as using wooden utensils and applying a waste separation system for recycling.
